BIO:
Milagros Hillar is an Argentinian–Italian audiovisual designer, creative director, and film director whose work moves between film, new media, and emerging technologies. She holds a B.A. in Image & Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires, completed intensive programs in Producing and Film Business at NYU, and Lab programs in image Generation via IA.
Amongst her clients she includes brands such as Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
She has received distinctions from Vogue’s Women by Women (2025) and BAMV’s Premio Interdisciplinario (2024). As well as keeping an ongoing role on the MALBA Acquisition Committee (2023–present). Her selected works span museum commissions (MALBA, Satsch Gallery), mixed-media and virtual projects (including 3D and AI-driven experiences).
Since 2018, Milagros has worked extensively with musicians and bands—first as a VJ in festivals like Lollapalooza and Quilmes Rock, and later as a creative director, developing full 360° aesthetics and visual identities.
Passionate about innovation, she has spent the last five years exploring AI tools (ComfyUI), 3D sculpting, and experimental digital workflows, integrating them into her artistic and commercial practice. She currently teaches Iluminación y Cámara II at the University of Buenos Aires (Cátedra Valansi).
Her current projects include developing her debut feature script and expanding her mixed-media production studies, working across film, fashion, gaming, and AI-driven visual experimentation.
